GSIS 2026 unveils conference programme – a strong platform for exhibitors

The Global Security and Innovation Summit (GSIS) has released its conference programme for 2026. With clearly defined priorities, the Summit focuses on key future-oriented topics shaping the security and innovation landscape. Major programme elements and several keynote addresses will be confirmed in the first half of 2026.

Core themes include technological sovereignty, industrial resilience and geopolitical innovation dynamics. For exhibitors, this creates an environment of high international relevance with direct access to decision-makers from government, industry and the financial sector.

Strategic topics with a clear industry focus

The conference programme covers central future fields including quantum technologies, biosecurity, the space economy, critical infrastructure, energy security, as well as innovation and investment finance. The agenda combines keynote speeches, special addresses and a total of seven plenary sessions in a clearly structured programme architecture – ranging from the strategic assessment of global trends to discussions on concrete industrial and technology policy priorities. The division into clearly defined thematic areas enables companies to strongly position their solutions within the broader strategic debate.

The industrial perspective is strengthened by leading partners from the security and defence sector. Among them, the Federation of German Security & Defence Industries (BDSV) supports the format with its industry policy expertise and fosters networking with key industry stakeholders.

Through its thematic structure, GSIS brings exhibitors together with a professional audience that has clear technology, procurement and investment interests. The Summit enables strategic networking and fosters tangible business opportunities.

Enhanced visibility through additional formats

In addition to the main conference, GSIS 2026 will, for the first time, introduce curated side events and partner formats. Expert workshops will create additional touchpoints and provide further interaction opportunities between exhibitors and international decision-makers. The early publication of the programme provides greater planning certainty and facilitates integration into international sales and communication strategies. The two-day main conference on 9–10 December will be complemented by a pre-opening format on 8 December.
